We would love to receive your application for this exciting opportunity.

The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) will form a hybrid delegation to attend the 68th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women to be held March 1122, 2024. Our delegation will attend the first week of the CSW in person or online and if you would like to join for the second week, you are welcome to do so. However, your attendance is not required.

About the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women

Snapshot about CSW:

https://www.unwomen.org/en/csw/csw-snapshot

The Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) is the principal global intergovernmental body exclusively dedicated to the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women. During CSW, more than 5,000 participants from around the world, including UN Member States, UN programs, agencies, and civil society come together to further gender equality for women. This is a great space for people to network, learn about advocacy issues, visit the United Nations and hear about the experiences of women and girls from all over the world.

The 68th Session of the Commission will focus on accelerating the achievement of gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls by addressing poverty and strengthening institutions and financing with a gender perspective. We know many young people are passionate about the way the church engages with social justice issues, and we would love for these voices to be brought to the UN.
