Rev. Berthe Nzeba, first clergywoman in the Congo, coordinates national and international support for women and children displaced by the 1996-2003 conflict which killed 5.4 million and displaced many more who are still at risk of violence from remaining militias.
Christi Boyd, interpreter, is mission co-worker in the Congo, Rwanda, Niger, Madagascar, and South Sudan. In the Congo she is helping change laws under which widows and their children are dispossessed by their in-laws, causing dire poverty.
