This seminar, presented by the Center for Child Health Improvement & Innovation, University of Iowa, is geared specifically for clergy, to give them the key skills to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or is experiencing a mental health crisis. Evidence shows that Mental Health First Aid training helps individuals feel more comfortable managing a crisis situation and builds mental health literacy by helping participants identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness.

The seminar is sponsored by DeWitt Academy for Theological Education which offers seminars to any and all people who wish to serve the church and study Scripture.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS ARE AVAILABLE TO CLERGY.
