A conversation in Mt. Pleasant
Two Iowans with experience in helping refugee populations resettle in the Cedar Rapids and Columbus Junction areas will share insights into challenges and opportunities facing refugees and their new communities.
The public is invited to learn about the situations faced by refugees in violence-torn countries, the process of resettlement and ways to support refugees.
This event will be held in the Fellowship Hall at First Presbyterian Church in Mt. Pleasant.
