The last of the original classrooms is still standing but the building is in danger of collapse and has been condemned. PEB is hoping to rebuild these classrooms. They have proposed three phases:· Phase I. consists of three classrooms and a bathroom block.
· Phase II. consists of a second floor, which has of three more classrooms and a bathroom block.
· Phase III. is a much-needed school office for all of the Pasrur Christian Girls School.Phase I is our goal now and would replace the dilapidated classrooms and give the children a safe place to go to school.

This year PEB is hoping to raise $238,000 for Phase I of the new building at the Pasrur school. It will house three classrooms and a bathroom block to replace the dangerous building that is now being used. We are asking East Iowa churches to join us in raising funds. If we can raise half the amount ($119,000) by June, we can freeze the total cost. Inflation is currently very bad in Pakistan. If someone wishes to make a large donation, the building will be named in their honor. Friends of PEB will match the first $40,000 that is raised for this project. We are already off to a good start with $32,000.
Elevation of planned Pasrur Primary Building upon completion.

There are many reasons to support this project. Veda’s annual trips to FPC and frequent updates has made the Pasrur Project an important part of our church life. Through her, we have maintained a close friendship with the PEB (the Presbyterian Education board) for 25 years. Friends of PEB is part of PCUSA and has 100 out of 100 rating from Charity Navigator. This is a brick-and-mortar project that will last for 100 years or more. And most importantly, educating children at a Christian Girls School is a manifestation of goodness and the grace that is part of our legacy as Christians.
