| The 197th Stated Meeting will take place, Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 10:00a-2:30pm via Zoom. The meeting’s theme is Restorative Justice in Covenant Community: A Call to Compassion, Justice, and Reconciliation.Elona Street-Stewart will preach at the worship service, hosted by Blue Grass Presbyterian Church. Shortly following worship, Street-Stewart will begin the Stated Meeting with an Education Event.
Iowa City/St. Andrew Presbyterian Church,140 Gathering Place Ln, Iowa City has graciously agreed to be a satellite location for the event. They will stream the zoom meeting in their sanctuary. Presbytery members with less stable internet or those that have concerns about their technology may use St. Andrew as a way to access the zoom meeting. Please note, while the satellite location is in-person, the meeting itself including Elona Street-Stewart, will be conducted entirely over zoom.
Both the worship service and the education event will be streamed via Facebook. Following the meeting, the worship service will be available for churches to download and use.
Please note, the business portion of the meeting will NOT be streamed. If you serve as a minister member, PEIA team moderator, or church commissioner, please register for the meeting here.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. The confirmation email may take up to one business day.
The deadline for registration is Thursday, July 16 at 5:00 pm. If you register late, we cannot guarantee that you will gain access to the meeting. The office staff will be assisting with worship at 10:00am and will prioritize managing worship logistics. Please register by the deadline. You MUST be registered to attend the meeting.
